We write good content. Whether you need improved content on your website, in your Google Adwords, for your product description, or for your new campaign, we write it.
What We Do
We learn. We experiment. We write. We revise
Like you, we don’t know everything about everything–some days it feels like we don’t know anything–but we are avid readers and researchers. If we don’t know about your product or service, we will learn.
Why should you work with Like You We Don’t?
- Like you, we don’t know everything–but we know writing!
- Like you, we don’t do everything–but we do this, and we do it well.
- Like you, we don’t have more than 24 hours a day–but we can focus our time on your needs.
Who are we?
Like You We Don’t is a partnership between Seth & Kelly.
Kelly and Seth have been friends for more than 30 years. (Shoot, now you can guess our age.) We started working on creating copy about seven years ago while Seth was working at a web-design company and Kelly was teaching middle school. It was a fun sideline. We enjoyed “spit-balling” ideas, brainstorming ways to sell laser hair removal and taxi services in 30 words or less. We laughed a lot. I mean a lot. We came up with some crazy ideas–some worked, some didn’t. (We really did launch a campaign using Chewbacca as a hair removal candidate!) And we realized we were actually pretty good at this.
How can we help you?
Like You We Don’t can help with just about any writing need you have.
We don’t build websites, we build web presence.
Our Approach
Here’s our approach. Someone asks us to write something. We write it.
It’s really that simple–from the outside. On the inside this might mean hours of phone calls, reading, researching, brainstorming, writing things down and scratching things out.
But really, it is as simple as: You ask us to do it, we do it.
We write for you.
Our Story
Seth & Kelly have been collaborating for more than six years on writing good content and copy. We’ve written Wikipedia pages, we’ve gotten a charity fundraiser off the ground, we’ve increased traffic to small business websites, and we’ve written social media ads. But that doesn’t limit us.
“I don’t like you” is what we say to each other. It started as a joke, and it turned into a private way to say we care. When we decided to create a website, in an attempt to market ourselves, Seth said “Let’s call it ‘I don’t like you’. Strangely, that domain name was already taken. After some thinking, we came up with Like You We Don’t; partly in homage to our friend Yoda™, partly a nod to our personal tag line, and partly because, like you, we don’t do everything–but we can do this for you.
